Arrival for this evening will be from 7:30: no earlier please, thank you. The Radio club will supply basic tea, coffee, sugar, milk for this evening. If you would personally like to drink something else, please bring it with you. The Scout hut is equipped with 2 HF aerials; Sandpiper and long wire plus a 2m/70cm collinear if anybody wants to bring along a rig to operate. It has a grassed garden alongside to be used by smokers – and anybody else if it’s nice weather… *** | ||

21/22 June | NRC Radio Weekend and BBQ 2025 at Gary’s Field – Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June Partners and family are welcome. Please note that toilet facilities are available but limited. If you have a tent or caravan you are welcome to stay over on Saturday night. There is no need to let us know if you will be coming, do just turn up… and bring equipment and antennas to operate if you would like. Alternatively you can operate on VHF or HF using the club radios and antennas. The special callsign GB0WFX will be used on the club station. This is to recognise the callsign of one of the club’s founders and our first President, Frank Wright, who was issued the callsign ‘WFX’ in 1910. On the Sunday there will be a BBQ. Please bring your own food and drink and a chair if you would like. Paper plates and cutlery will be available. | ||
