Apart from Nigel, G6MKJ, who joined just after me, I have associated with the club in various capacities since 1982. I have proposed that an award, cup shield or what have you is presented each year at the AGM, plus a gift for them to keep. The criteria will be something of the format of “Footballer of the year,” and the Film awards. The winners are all nominated by their peers’ and not by a panel.

It would apply to those who give their time to the club, help out at events; make swift progress in the hobby, tests and anything else anyone can think of. They should generally stand out from the crowd.
